I had a dream the other night and it is a rather powerfull one. I feel compelled to share it with you:

The world was on the verge of a third world war. I was in a desert canyon with the two opposing factions on each side. I climbed up (rather easily) to the top of a plateu and found it crowded with people, mostly Native Americans and they were discussing things amongst themselves.

I asked in a compelling voice, "Is there anyone planning an operation?" ....I asked again, "Is anyone planning an operation?"...and finally an 11 year old Boy spoke up and said, "Yes sir, I am." I looked at him and with the voice of a Father I replied, "When you know what your objective is, let me know and I will provide Inteligence for you."

I continued walking and in a wheelchair sat an old Veteran. He motioned for me to come over and showed me a picture of what I needed to stop the 3rd World War. It was a toilet seat made of Ivory and into it was carved hirogliphics that if decoded held the Key to what I needed. (What would Freud make of that?)

He then took me through the vally where he showed me some huge bolders and I said to him, "These look like plain old Boulders but inside they are pure Quartz crystal and hold the power of the Ages".

ADOLF HITLER'S APPLICATION TO US ART SCHOOL ACCEPTED 78 YEARS TOO LATE

It has been learned that Adolph Hitler's 1924 application to the Parson's School of Design (Back then, it was called the Chase School)*, was recently approved!

"Welcome incoming freshman!" reads the acceptance letter sent to Hitler's original Bavarian PO Box. "Your years at Parson will be a most challenging and rewarding time and could help you to change the course of history!" The letter's final paragraph notes Hitler has been assigned to the "Yoni Shimelman dormitory."

Representatives from Parson's School of Design stumbled to explain how Hitler's application could have "fallen through the cracks" for most of a century. "The girls in the admissions office are young, bridge and tunnel types," offered one official. "They're all La Vida Loca, you know? Maybe they just didn't recognize the name.....?"

Hitler's drawing and painting skills were well-developed by the time of his application (see his portfolio piece above). Had he been exposed to exciting new cultures throughout europe during his service in the "List Regiment", during the First World War and givin the proper structure and training, it's widely assumed Hitler could have developed into a painter of renown. Instead, his application was lost and after what may have been seen by him as a "Final Rejection", Adolf Hitler then turned toward politics.

"Had we known this one application could have changed the course of history.....", said a Parson spokesman. "But these things happen. Stuff gets lost all the time. For instance, I'm always losing my apartment keys.

"Hey do me a favor," requested a Parson's board member. "If anyone finds out Osama's kids are applying to art school, somebody call and give us a head's up."

This makes you realize how important little oversights are in the great scheme of things. One can only imagine how this might have been seen as another rejection. How history would have been altered if he had arrived in the U.S. as just another art student, found acceptance and worked for an ad agency on Madison ave.

Surly, except for some fine Charles Rutenberg Home Advertisements (For which his style would have been beautifully suited), he would have passed this century virtually UN-noticed and the European war may have been fought against the Soviet Union instead.

I even think he would have progressed as an artist toward fine illustrations like this:

In My view, this ties in with Cho Seung-Hui, his rejection and his personal Holocaust.

Lets Party!

We raised our base price again. This time from 5.000 to 8.000 Smackers. 5 out of 8 venues didnt bat an eye and the 3 left to go havent responded yet. So even if the three remaining dont go for it, we are still making the same mony and we would be doing 3 less gigs a year.

Mony is up front in full and we have the right to cancell if we do not receive it 14 days prior to the gig date, no exceptions. So far this has worked out very well for us.

Basicly, if they cant write a check for that amount and take a chance on loosing it, then they are strictly SMALL TIME, (like the gin mills we used to play in back in the day)

See, they try to book us in advance, hopeing to get the mony later... or are planning on crying the Blues and trying to get us to play and be paid after... (high school bullshit). We said good-bye to that crap a long time ago, So should you.

See, you don't have to sell out or kiss ass in order to make it in the Music bussiness! Get Tough and be Tough! These Assholes you are trying to impress are nothing but small time. The Big Boyz Hand out mony like Christmas candy and they are the ones that will really dig your tunes instead of expecting you to sell booze for them.......(^>)

Mostly I don't talk about the details of War because with regard to same come the flashbacks. I had an avalanche of them during and after this extraordinary film. Though not my exact genera, Jarhead captures what other war films haven't: The Hell which is in the details.

The details never bothered me before because it was the Details that I relished and savored. The things that made others want to go home made me want to stay. As a staff sergeant says in the movie, "I thank God every Day he gives me in the Corps."

I spend some of my time cursing God for ever making me stupid enough to not realize I had to stay...and stay close, indeed. I miss it. It is like the best fuck you ever have in your life and afterward you just know that nothing else is ever going to come close and sure enough you wish you were wrong.

In this film its easy to spot the lucky ones. They are the ones who seem stupid and give a quick impression of not having much between their ears..but in the final rub they are the ones who realize early on that they have found a home...the others spend a lifetime looking for theirs.

The impact of the scenery is riveting...no one in the packed theatre gets up to go P.P.

An archaic artillery barrage leaves our Hero frozen for a moment..."Shell Shocked". And It teleported me back to my first barrage.

You see, Artillery has always frightened me more so than other horrors of war because unlike the personalized venues of combat, artillery can be dealt by someone far away who sips coffee in perfect safety between volleys. You cant even say, "Hay Motherfucker...I'm gone get you for that", because you don't even know where he is or that he is reading a magazine while you are digging the graves of you fellows. So, that is why I dread artillery...but moreover because of Great Uncle Pete.

Uncle Pete was among only a dozen survivors of a hellatious Artillery barrage. Because the Army said that no one should have survived, he and the others were studied by the war Dept. until his Death many years later. He told me all about it. How the shells come in...what they sound like...the screaming of men....the way the bodies get tossed up in the air like rag-dolls and the way things get blown out of your pockets.

He told me that I needed to tether everything of importance to me with a cord if I didn't want them blown out and lost forever. I did. I didn't loose anything either but found that the cords tethered me to nearby vines and such which needed the aid of my men to help me get free of. Curious....I seem to recall a sense of calm as I remember the "Poof"...the peaceful flying through the air....and the absorption into the vines.....I felt nothing.....tingling....then bewilderment....followed by calm and a strange nimbness like when your leg falls asleep.

It is only now...that I feel anxiety during an artillery barrage. ....because now I know what could have happened to me...and how easy it was to toss me through the air like a rag doll.

I have said it many times....I know my friends are tired of hearing me say it, but I still believe the lucky ones are the ones who die with their boots on. Nothing brings this to mind so clearly as when you have a good relationship with a girl and then you wait for her to put her head on your shoulder and ask the question, "So....like, during the war....did you ...you know...ever Kill anyone?."

It's a trick question. If you say No, then she knows you are lying.....If you say yes, then its only a matter of weeks (Sometimes days) before its over. So I tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. I lay awake at night looking at the ceiling wishing I could get back into the Shit. I play SOF-2, Paint-ball and other combat games to keep my hand in and to try to keep sane. But always remember that I'm Not about to loose my sanity because of the Horrors of war, but because of the lack thereof.....and that (I'm sorry to say) makes it impossible for me to ever come home....because when I left the last battlefield...That was when I left Home.....My home was and is and always will be the closest battlefield...It is there and only there that I feel safe and standing on solid ground.

You Might say that my real Home is the "Suck".

I Left at 05:15 in the morning and when I got to the "Nationals" I was greeted by the sight of THIS:

Shit...I wanted to stay all Day but I made planz with my Numba 1.Commando from back in the day, Marty (AKA, Wolf) Jaksa and then our Band Gig at the XoR Banquet later on that night.

I told him I was hungry and so he said we should meet at the "Fireside inn", which turned out to be a gin mill...no food (But the Music and booze prices were Great.) So, we left and went to some rip off place and ate red stakes and guzzled wiskey.

We went for some rides and picked up some people here and there....me on my YZF 750-R and he on his heritage Springer Special, gunnin it on the interstate and chillin through rich neibourhoods. Shit...what a freakin cool time. We always hoped we'd live long enough to enjoy this shit!

Yes its so edible it's incredable.
O.K. just hold them right there...
And Did we have a good time???

So after the Show we had a little Get together...you know...Home style Crew stuff and then let out for some shit kickin ride time.

We run into the, "DUI Gang"...

"Boyz...you ARE Fast.....but you need to ride with us once in a while so you can get used to some Uber-Fast speed. We are the only ones that ride like this and so dont be sad that you couldent keep up. It's just that were used to it and haveing the bikes that can do the deal helps too."

(They Had Honda 954's...a respectable bike but hardly qualified to go through the worm hole with any degree of safety.)

And so I let them off the hook. Im such a great freakin Dawg......(^>)

Sleepin in my own bed, I thought about the events of the day. I'm one fortunate Mother-Fletcher...but as

The Scene
“Tha Bomb” Internet Radio for the street scene Freestyle/Hip-Hop-Rap/NYC.

I’m there first because Nickel waited down the street in his Limo for me to go in so he could make a dramatic entrance. My entrance is still More dramatic since I rode in through the front door on My Pocket-Sport-bike. “Damn I neva seen dat shit befo’” Exclaimed the MC. The DJ just Smiled widely for about 10 min. I am only accompanied by two members of My Crew, Ryan and Luis.
Nickel finally comes in with a Crew of about a Dozen. No shirt and sweaty he sports Bling and tries to hide his fear by attempting to look, “Ready to Battle”. He trips over his own Dogged out Shoelaces. The DJ Snickers under his breath. Everyone else just smirks. His own Crew tries not to notice but some heads shake in disbelief.

The Battle begins with a coin Toss. Heads I win.
I choose to let him go first since I know he cant really Rap. He Just memorizes and makes it sound good. Unlike Snoop Dog who can make up shit any time any place, this puppy is a pretender. I let him get what he has memorized out….I will have to rhyme off his last Rhyme which I know I can do. Then he will have to rhyme off Mine, which I know he cant.

Each Man Has 15 seconds to Rhyme. If not, he is disqualified. Also he cannot have a pause
longer than 15 seconds. If He fails to rhyme off the last lines of his opponent he is likewise
disqualified. Repeating any part of your opponents last rhyme is also disqualifying. If the opponant who is going first fails to make word in the begining of the second round it is considered a knockout in the first round and so on through the rounds. Likewise any opponant who fails to make word is considered knocked out. If you make word but fail to rhyme or break one of the other rules, then it is a technical knockout.

If both make it to the end of 12 rounds the audience decides who won.

(10 Seconds Pass and the MC Gives him the 5 second warning. He is shaking and trying to speak but the words wont come.)

(13 seconds and members of his crew uncross arms and one blurts out, “motherfucker” under his breath as he heads for the studio door.)

(At the sound of the buzzer Nickle is frozen with his mouth wide open…he has been trying to force words out but to no avail. His crew is deserting him like the Iraqi army.)

(The MC announces Nickle as being disqualified and Vince-Ditty as the winner by Knockout in the first round.)

Nickle, (Sweating Profusely) Bolts for the door, missing his opportunity to explain himself or offer congratulations. He Can be heard yelling the word, “Bullshit” just before the door seals itself.

The MC asks Vince -Ditty how It feels to win against Nickle:

“Well…mind if I have a drink of water?…..Thank you…Well, see It's really not a great victory or anything.

I know it must seem so
but before the show
I got the straight dope
from those in the know,
who paid high prices
and burned midnight oil
and through labor and toil,
With Flashlights under blankets
stood the watches,
and clocked the notches,
like clockwork ORANGE
Fronting the War-Bridge,
in literary fun,
put a SILVERA
bullet in my gun!”

MC: You still Cant stop Rhyming can you? …..got some skillz this Boy..Ha…Ha…It looked to me like you had him locked out, since he can’t repeat parts of your Rhyme but here you just proved he could have still rhymed Orange What would you say makes you able to do battle like this and why did you accept the challenge?

Vince-Ditty: “Well, ahem…I accepted it because the challenge was brought at a time when it was thought that I Couldn’t possibly accept. It was offered when people of his kind were scoping me out and saw lots of Histrionics’ going on in my life.

If I hadn’t accepted or shown, then Nickle would have gotten up some street respect which was/is his current goal….after all, he has everything else EXCEPT street respect and no matter what happened here tonight he’ll still sell Platnumz. So really he only Lost the respect of his so-called Crew…but he’s been acting like a Crew Jumpin Ho’ Anywayz and needs to stick with some people he can depend on.

MC: “You don’t think much of his Crew?”

Vince-Ditty:“I can tell you now that he wouldn’t like that African American talk…He uses the word Nigga or Niggas or Black and like that because he is old skool and sees this politically correct stuff as being lame.

I met him when my music teacher asked him to listen to me. He caught me playing by ear and recommended that my parents stop wasting their money on lessons for me. I started jamming with them once a week. We been together on and off ever since.

MC: “Did he teach you how to Rap?”
Vince-Ditty: No, Shakespeare taught me that. He was the first Rap artist. (General talking and background noise in studio.)

Vince-Ditty: Well, Honestly I have to say that I would out of sheer Vanity… but I know he is among the best. I admire his Skillz a lot. He is definitely among the best on or off the street. It wouldn’t be a cakewalk like this one was. He really knows his stuff.”

MC: “You really weren’t intimidated by Nickels Platinum scores?”

Vince-Ditty: “No, truly I wasn’t…written down memorized stuff doesn’t phaze me at all because I can make up stuff in my head. Anyone who can is going to have an advantage. The American Jamm Method encourages improvisation, and that’s all I do 24/7.”

MC: “What..Heh..(He is talking to the recording engineer through his headset) I just been told that Nickle whigged out after one of his Crerw called him “2 and a Half Cent” What do you have to say about that?

Vince-Ditty: “2 and a half cent is half of a Nickle and a far cry from 50...But if he gets away from those clowns and starts to apply himself to rhyming in his head on the fly, he will earn the street respect that he wants….and it wont take long…in fact if he wants to, he can come to my studio and ill teach him. Under that façade that they created for him there is a real man wanting to get out. If he can front it up and be real with me Ill friend him and make him into one of the best street Rappers anyone has ever seen! But the Move is his and the rules are strict…the Full-O-Shit Clowns GO! And we work hard every damn day until he can do battle anywhere/anytime/with anyone.”

MC: “Even you?”

Vince-Ditty: “Especially Me!”

Now that nickle Cent has been wittled down once again we can get back to other more important things.

I wonder though, If he diddnt like being called "Nickle cent" in the real world, How is he going to react to being called "Two Cent"?(His own Crew Calles hom that now. Details to follow after I get back Home)
